Lumina is a light installation that was created as part of my dissertation project for my Fine Art degree. Through a series of extensive experiments and studies, Lumina emerged with the primary objective of giving immersion and transcendental spiritual experiences. In this context, spirituality is approached as an abstract concept that transcends religious boundaries. Ultimately, the aim was to transform this conceptual exploration into a visual artistic experience. Lumina, being composed of light, is an intangible artwork much like the ethereal nature of the experiences it aims to evoke.
