Allure is a large 2x1m painting on canvas, installed in a darker space that was lit up by various colours emitting from an LED light. The aim was to draw out a certain feeling, described by the artist as a non-religious spiritual feeling. The project was investigating the reactions between coloured paints and coloured light, the various effects that could be created with these reactions, and how to use these effects to give the best outcome for a spiritual experience. At the lower end of this page are some of the experiments that led to Allure.
